How did we get started?

What started in 2017 as a shared love for BJDs grew into something bigger: a small convention in the Netherlands focused on Asian dolls. Epic Doll Fair brings collectors, artists, customizers, and enthusiasts together. At the convention, you’ll find a wide range of stands selling BJD, Blythe, and Pullip dolls, as well as accessories.

As a non-profit organization, our mission is simple:

  • Create inclusive events for doll lovers
  • Support independent artists and small businesses
  • Encourage creativity and self-expression
  • Bring the doll community closer together

Any proceeds from Epic Doll Fair go right back into making our events bigger and better.

For more information on the events on that day, please view the program.

Who are we?

Epic Doll Fair is run by a small but passionate team of volunteers and organizers who love the doll community as much as you do.

Suzanne – Founder & Lead Organizer

I started this hobby back in 2007 and have been part of the BJD community ever since. As a faceup artist, doll customizer and collector. I mostly take care of the social media, communication and planning side of things, and chip in wherever it is needed.

Maaike – Lead Organizer & Treasurer
I started this hobby in 2008 and soon fell in love with its diversity. Over the years I have learned so much and made wonderful friends through this hobby. I am now a face-up artist and all-round doll customizer. My focus within the Epic Doll Fair is making sure the financial side is all taken care of and help wherever I can.
